Please read this information carefully. The following specifies the terms and conditions under which you use the Books for Business website. By using, visiting or browsing the Books for Business website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
Use of Credit Card
You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental permission to use the Books for Business website. In making a purchase, you agree that you are the credit card holder for your account or have express permission of the cardholder to use their card as a payment method.
Third-Party Transaction Fees
Books for Business is not responsible for any outside transaction fees or charges that may be incurred by making a purchase through Books for Business.com. This includes but is not limited to, NSF charges, foreign transaction fees, exchange rate costs, or any charge that is not directly invoiced through Books for Business.
Shipping
Books purchased in the United States are shipped via the US Postal Service using Media Mail (delivery in 10-14 business days) or Priority Mail (delivery in 2-5 business days). Books purchased in Canada are shipped via Canada Post expedited parcel (2-8 business days). Shipping times are approximate and may reasonably vary due to inclement weather, inventory volumes, and postal holidays. The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered at the time of purchase is accurate. Books for Business is not responsible for orders shipped to an inaccurate address or which the US Postal Service or Canada Post cannot deliver to.
Backorder/Out of Stock
Although Books for Business makes every effort to maintain high inventory levels, orders may be delayed up to 30 days if a title is out of stock. You will be notified if your order is out of stock and if an order hasn’t been shipped after 30 days, it will automatically be cancelled and all charges refunded.
Damaged Products
If your purchase arrives damaged, please contact us immediately and we will replace it at no cost to you.
Refunds
We offer a full refund, less shipping and a 30% restocking fee for all books returned within 30 days of shipment. Books must be returned in excellent condition, with an unbroken spine and no visible signs of wear. The purchaser is responsible for paying return shipping to Books for Business.
Privacy and Security
Books for Business is committed to your privacy and will not share your email, address, or other information to any third party. You are responsible for ensuring your account login information and password are secure and for restricting access to your computer. Account login information is for individual use and should not be shared with anyone else.
Limitations on Liability
We reserve the right to terminate your account at Books for Business.com without notice for any reason. We make not representation or warranties of any kind on the Books for Business service, website or associated marketing activities. In no event will Books for Business be liable to you for any special, indirect or consequential damages of any kind.
