Good Primer on "Why" for Social Media

  • Book Rating: 4/5

Written by Tracey Small on December 28, 2011

I got this book for Christmas and plowed through it pretty quickly on holidays. It's written very conversationally and covers sound principles on why businesses should get into Social Media. Rather than having a lot of actionable guidelines (which i've found go out of date too quickly to be relevant) this book seems to focus on the reasons and attitudes that businesses should adopt when getting into Facebook and Twitter. It's a good primer for marketing executives looking to build a strong social media presence from strategy down, and has enough anecdotes and quips to keep the reader engaged.
